Got my permit today! That makes 6 weeks from
the time they cashed my check to the time I received it.

Now, if only Crossbreed hadn't have shipped my holster to the wrong address!

Thanks!

I turned in my paperwork to the BCI with a check on 1/14, payment processed 1/21, received my CFP 3/6.

That's 45 calender days from date of payment processed. Not bad.

My Crossbreed Supertuck showed up today. I saw it for a minute before it found it's permantent residence on my hip hidden away. You can barely see my XD40sc when i'm crouched or bent over picking something up.. That's in a slightly tight t-shirt. My normal daily attire consists of buttom up untucked shirts, and sometimes polos.. So i'll be golden for CC'ing at work.

I am absolutely upset with the Galco MOB holster. I used that for the last few days and it is just a big fat hassle. It has enough play in the clip to move atleast 1/4" side to side, which would cause worry that it might fall out on occasion... Like last night in a huge meeting with 100+ people.. So glad it stayed put.. What a pile of shit that thing is. I by no means have a wimpy belt. It's a thick 1.5" leather belt.. Heaven forbit I don't wear a 2" belt for the Galco..

Regretting ever purchasing it.. But, oh well.. The crossbreed is incredibly comfortable. I only feel the weight of the XD, and nothing else.. It's even comfortable when driving!

Thanks for the heads up on the supertuck. I'm going to order one soon. Sounds like a really nice holster.

I wore the Supertuck all day, even around the house. I forgot it was there. My wife didn't even notice it for 4 hours until I thanked her for the bday gift and showed her that I had it on.

Right on. I need to get a new holster, my old BladeTech is finally worn out.

My permit took like 22 days when I got it... in '99. Unfortunately, it ran out while I was in Afghanistan.. I will probably have to resubmit. So I'll start the clock when I do.

Congrats on the permit, and the new Supertuck. I love my ST, very comfortable. At what position do you find it to have the best comfort/concealment? I wear mine at 4:30

Thanks. Yesterday it rode at 3:30 and I liked that. Today is closer to 3. I'll have to slide it into 4, and 4:30 positions to see how they ride.

3:30 was comfortable sitting at the desk, driving, even lounging on the couch.

I called on Monday, apparently someone "forgot" to complete my permit approval. I understand, these things happen. I got my permit today though, 114 days after I mailed in the application, and 95 days after the check cleared my bank.

At least it's done! Congrats.

I quit procrastinating and sent mine in last thursday. Not sure why I waited so long... mostly I was too lazy to track down a notary, but then I realized that there's always one at the bank.
